Our templates feature is a great way to save certain threshold/device settings. Using our pre-made or your very own custom made templates, you're able to easily transfer thresholds/device settings between any of your devices.

Creating a Template:

Step 1:

  • Go to your device dashboard and navigate the templates tab.

Step 2:

  • Press the blue "Create" button at the top of the page.

Step 3:

  • Enter template name & select template type.

Step 4:

  • Setup your Alert Settings, VPD Target, Photoperiod, and alert thresholds. Once all required fields are filled in, press the blue "Add Template" button. Once your template is created, it will now appear in your templates tab under whichever template type you selected.

Assigning a Template to a Single Device:

Step 1:

  • Navigate to your device dashboard & tap/click on a device to enter the device graph page.

Step 2:

  • Scroll/swipe down to the "Alert Settings" section of the page. Here you'll see your currently assigned template, and the option to change the assigned template.

Step 3:

  • Press the "Available Templates" dropdown menu and select the template that you'd like to assign to your device. *If you have unsaved settings currently applied to your device, you will be prompted to name & save the current settings as a template, or don't save & switch.*

  • Once you've changed templates, the template you selected should now appear as the current template for you device.

Assigning a Template to Multiple Devices:

Step 1:

  • Open your Pulse, and navigate the templates tab.

Step 2:

  • Devices that don't have a currently applied template will appear in your "Unassigned devices" section. If you want to assign multiple devices to a template, you can drop & drop the device icon into the designated template box, which will then assign the selected template to the device.

Managing/Editing Templates

Step 1:

  • Go to your device dashboard and navigate the templates tab.

Step 2:

  • Select the template that you wish to make changes to.

Step 3:

  • Make the desired changes to the template. Once finished making changes, you can choose from one of the save options available at the bottom of the template. Once saved, you're all set!

    Update Template - Updates the current template.

    Save Template as - Saves current template as a new template.

    Delete Template - Deletes the current template from your app.
