Note:

Pulse One devices with IDs less than 3709 that have not connected to the internet since 2020-07-03 are on an earlier version of the firmware and have to use the Legacy Blinkup process to connect to WiFi. Once they connect, they'll update automatically to the new firmware.

Devices with IDs less than 600 will not be able to perform the Bluetooth setup process even with up-to-date firmware.

There are some one-off devices with IDs that are not in sequence. Those will not be able to perform the Bluetooth setup process. Contact support if you have any questions or trouble setting up your device.

Before Getting Started

Download the Pulse Grow app on your smartphone.

Don't have a smartphone? The steps are similar, and you can use bluetooth as long as you're using the Chrome browser - even on a laptop computer.

Preparing the Pulse Device

  1. Open the battery cover by sliding it up.

  2. Power on your Pulse by plugging it in.

  3. Press and release the button on the back of the Pulse One, or on the side of the Pulse Pro

Note: the 2018 version of the Pulse (square shaped) reset button is next to the power plug and needs to be pressed with a pin of some sort (see below).
