The number one cause of failure is light leak preventing the information from syncing correctly. When pairing the device to your account make sure you are in a dark room. It is very likely the pairing will fail if done in sunlight, a bright room, or if there is a gap or interruption between the device and the screen.
Ensure that the 2.4GHz network is available and you are in range. Also make sure other devices are able to connect to the network without issues, and note their configurations for the network name, password, and frequency. In order for the pairing to be successful the Pulse One must establish a connection with the wireless network
The wireless network must be 2.4 GHz. Networks running on 5ghz will not pair with the device. Most modern routers come with dual channel modes allowing them to operate in both 2.4 GHz and 5ghz simultaneously. In some cases you may need to activate the 2.4 GHz network on your local network, or rename it if it is similar to the 5GHz network name. Check with your ISP and your router settings for more information on how to configure these things.
